Windows gives us the advantage of “Wake-on-LAN”, which sends some magic packets that will turn on your PC over the internet. The good news is that you can power on your PC anywhere anytime whenever you need to use it. Then you must be thinking that what other methods are there instead of accessing your PC via remote desktop? The other drawback is it consumes more and more power. Using Remote Desktop or remote file access is not a bad thing to access your computer anywhere but there is one thing annoying you have to turn on computer after leaving your house/office and then use a computer anywhere in the world.
